Working parties are essential part of the group’s activities and all are welcome to join us – please come along and get involved.  We can find a job for anyone and will provide any equipment required.  You don’t need special skills, but please wear suitable footwear and thick gardening gloves and download and make sure you read the Fuzzy Drove risk assessment before you come along.

We plan to hold the following working parties during 2022:

8th and 22nd January

5th and 19th February

5th and 19th March

2nd and 16th April

7th and 21st May

 

 

 

 

We meet at 10am on Fuzzy Drove at the cut-through to Petrel Croft but  please be aware that working parties are automatically cancelled if the weather on the day is wet!

Working parties last a maximum of two hours but you don’t need to be able to stay for the whole 2 hours – some volunteers come for part of the working party and then leave to go to other commitments. .

 New volunteers will be given a short briefing by the work party leader before starting work.
